I am please bring to your attention the 12th International Trauma Care Conference, which is being held in Telford between the 16th 19th May 2011 at the Park Inn Hotel.

Below is a copy of the programme which has a number of key plenary sessions, including contributions from Professor Keith Willett – National Director for Trauma and Professor Matthew Cook - National Clinical Director Urgent & Emergency Care.

The conference covers the whole spectrum of Trauma Care including Pre-Hospital Care, Emergency Medicine, Cardiothoracic Trauma, Neuro-trauma, Paediatric Trauma, Imaging in Trauma, Burns Injury and Trauma Critical Care.

In addition there is a Nursing programme, a whole day on Training for Trauma, and a day devoted to Trauma Systems and networks.

Recognising the contemporary threat of a terrorist explosion there is a day devoted to Ballistic Trauma.

The conference is sponsored by Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, which has allowed us to drive prices down to £35 per day for Trauma care Members, [£50 Non-Members] and for four days £125 for members and £185 for Non members.

Can I please encourage you to look at the programme and I'm sure when you look at the academic content you will see that this is extremely good value for money.  There is still time for free paper submissions which should be sent to editor.jramc@googlemail.com

Can I please ask that you forward this email as widely as possible to your colleagues, contacts and relevant departments, each day is recognised for 8hrs CPD

For any further information please contact Kim Matthews 0121 371 4918 or email kim.matthews@nhs.net

I look forward to seeing you in Telford.
