Can't say I've ever really been a paramedic but I did serve in the RAF as a nurse for 12 years which included ambulance duties. Apologies for the delay in replying, I was at Lynham in the early 80's as part of No 1 AEvacS but my main camp was Wroughton until I left in 85.

I did make it back this year for a LRF meeting in the officers mess, it all looked a little run down I'm afraid but I guess that was inevitable.

Living in Wiltshire its often on the local news. I see they are trying to get the army in there. I have never understood the difference from a UK cost saving point of view when one service takes over from another.
