Can't say I've ever really been a paramedic but I did serve in the RAF as a nurse for 12 years which included ambulance duties. For the last 25 years I've sold emergency medical equipment and now run Wessex Medical (www.wessex-medical.com) so if you have a question about equipment feel free to ask.

I was a Special Constable for over ten years, a lot of which was on traffic so tend to have opinions in that area too.

Cheers for now

Alan

Hello Alan, you werent at that hoiliday camp known as RAF Lyneham were you?
I was mobilised there as a mover for the gulf, all my stuff was still there a year later after I came home injured, still in the room, they'd forgotten about me.

Hi Scaz

Apologies for the delay in replying, I was at Lynham in the early 80's as part of No 1 AEvacS but my main camp was Wroughton until I left in 85.

I did make it back this year for a LRF meeting in the officers mess, it all looked a little run down I'm afraid but I guess that was inevitable.

Living in Wiltshire its often on the local news. I see they are trying to get the army in there. I have never understood the difference from a UK cost saving point of view when one service takes over from another.
